Truth

I am sharing a FaceBook post by my Brother Tanner Spears. His words emphasize an environment of honesty and reality. I hope in some way this message speaks to whomever may read this post.

Tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Know the difference between not telling somebody something because they "didn't ask" and lying by omission.

IF one lies in any way or form it is still much better to come clean than get caught. Time is of essence.

Real people are those that are not compulsive liars. Liars may have long lasting connections, but those bonds grow weak and love fades away.

When someone lies about random little things that do not even make sense to lie about, be extra cautious. They lie due to insecurity, to cover up something worse, or even they believe they did something suboptimal. Lying shows that one does not value the relationship [enough].

One truth does not mean you get one lie. Being lied to does not mean you get to lie back. Do not take someone else's freedom of choice away by lying.

Lying is selfish, destructive, and self-defeating.

May you succeed with Truth in future endeavors.
